On February 10th, 2007, we lost our 11 year old daughter to a viral infection. Although each day that passes, we miss her more and more, keeping her name alive in our community gives us comfort that her vibrant spirit is still here.

Mackenzie had many passions. She was a girl that wanted to make a difference. Her last goal in life was to become a scientist to save polar bears from global warming. She was also an avid soccer player. Each year, since age four, she committed her spare time to soccer. She loved playing the game and adored her teammates. Of course, Mackenzie appreciated learning, and always strived to do well in school.

In Mackenzie's name we have developed scholarship funds to carry on her passions.
